Article: Black Radish and Carrot Salad with Fresh Ginger

Black Radish and Carrot Salad with Fresh Ginger

Fresh ginger adds a tangy, spicy flavour, which can enhance the taste of radishes and carrots, its unique flavour profile pairs well with many vegetables.

As for the lemon, it brings a touch of acidity and freshness. It balances the sweetness of the carrots and the spiciness of the radishes, while enhancing the flavours of the salad.

A simple and quick starter to make, for 2 you need:

    1 large black radish

    3 carrots

2 to 3 cm of ginger

    1 clove of garlic

    1 lime juice

    black sesame

Grate the radish, carrots (for my part I preferred to grate them lengthwise to add an original touch), garlic and ginger.

Squeeze the lemon and mix everything with a tablespoon of olive oil.

Sprinkle with black sesame, salt and pepper, it’s ready!
