    Chicken Satay

Satay is an iconic dish of Southeast Asia, particularly popular in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. This delicious dish consists of marinated and grilled meat skewers, accompanied by a tasty sauce. Its origin dates back several centuries, when Arab and Indian merchants introduced spices and meat cooking techniques to the region. Satay quickly became a popular street food, loved for its simplicity and exquisite taste. Today, it is an essential part of parties and family meals, symbolizing the culinary and cultural richness of Southeast Asia.

    Chicken Satay recipe

    Ingredients for 4 people:

    600g chicken

    1 red onion

    3 cloves of garlic

    200g of coconut cream

    2 tbsp Satay mix

    Salt

    Preparation:

In a large bowl, mix the onion, garlic, Satay mix, coconut cream and salt. Add the chicken pieces and mix well to coat them with the marinade. Cover and leave to rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

In a wok, heat a little oil and pour in the marinade, fry everything until the chicken is well cooked. Serve with rice.

    Satay sauce recipe

You can also make grilled chicken skewers to dip in Satay sauce. To do this, simply:

Heat 200g of coconut cream over medium heat.

Add 2 tbsp Satay mix stirring constantly until the sauce is well mixed and slightly thickened.

Add the juice of a lime and mix. Remove from heat and set aside.

    Enjoy your meal!
