Article: Baked Autumn Fruit with Honey and Brut de Cannelle

Baked Autumn Fruit with Honey and Brut de Cannelle

Baked Autumn Fruit with Honey and Brut de Cannelle

With the arrival of autumn, it's the perfect time to enjoy comforting desserts made with seasonal fruits. Apples, pears, figs, grapes... These autumn treasures lend themselves perfectly to baking, which enhances their natural flavours while retaining their benefits. Whether it is to perfume your home with their warm aromas or to offer a sweet but light touch at the end of a meal, baked autumn fruits are an invitation to healthy indulgence.

This easy, quick and low-calorie recipe is perfect for warming up your evenings while enjoying the benefits of seasonal fruits.

For the following recipe I opted for figs, apples and pears. A delicious autumn fruit salad to enjoy warm.

Baked Autumn Fruit with Honey and Brut de Cannelle

    4 figs

    1 apple

    1 pear

    8 damson plums

    2 Tbsp of honey

1 pinch of our Brut de Cannelle (mix of muscovado sugar and cassia cinnamon)

    1 orange

1 handful of pecans (to taste)

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Wash and peel the fruit, remove the core from the apple and pear and pit the plums.

In a baking dish, place the figs cut in half, the pear and apple cut into 8, the damson cut in half.

Squeeze the orange and add the pinch of Brut de Cannelle and the honey, pour over the fruit.

Put in the oven for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, add the pecans and cook again for 10 minutes (20 minutes in total).

Serve warm with, why not a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
